"You don't ask a child if they want to walk or be carried,
you ask them if they want to walk on the grass or the sidewalk."

Online Kindergarten Readiness Screening Tool
This tool is designed for four-year-olds. Screen your child twice while she's four. Try to screen your child first in the fall a year before entering kindergarten, and again before kindergarten starts to measure your child's progress. Don't use the tool more than three times a year. It's not designed to measure small changes, and kids develop new skills gradually.
