We did experiments in a book called Float or Sink in Mrs. Jones' group.
It was fun to guess first then put different things in a bowl of water to see if they float or sink!
Mrs. Jones gave us our own baggie of things to float and sink at home!
Mrs. Ward played a favorite dice game called Roll-a-Snowman!
Print a copy for each player. You also need crayons, colored pencils or markers.
Roll the die, color by number, and be the first to complete your snowman!
We played The "at" Find the Snowman Hat Game found at Heidi's Blog.
Mr. Jones and Mr. Twaddell played this game using a pocket chart. Just to be tricky,
they put X cards, the same size as the hat card, behind every word.
Mr. Jones bought more goldfish for our aquarium! They swim all over the tank.
The 3 danio rerio, known as zebra danio, swim near the surface.
Hypostomus plecostomus, "the pleco" keeps the tank clean and hides.
The PM Class had fun at the Sing Along!
The AM Class thought the Laser Show was awesome!

Mrs. Goldey read the Polar Express then gave us the first gift of Christmas!
Mrs. Jones made a book to help us retell the story of The Polar Express.
We used the picture clues to help us read the words.

Our parties were awesome! Santa visited the Morning Classes!
The Morning Class played Bingo and watched a Laser Show!
The Afternoon Class played Bingo and make some ornaments!

Grandparent's Day was so exciting!
We sang songs for them, talked about what grandparents do with us,
served them a drink and a snack, and gave them a handprint present!
We all sang and danced "The Turkey Pokey" together!

Nature Collection and Leaf Day
In Mrs. Ward's group we made a Nature Collage out of things
we collected on our nature walk for Family Homework.
In Mrs. Jones' group we did activities with a leaf and recorded
our results in My Leaf Book. Print a copy to do at home!
In Mr. Twaddell's group we read a book called Look What I Found
and compared our collection to what the boy found on his nature walk!
We wrote "yes" or "no" on each page
Our Halloween Parades and Parties were Awesome!
