Where Did You Hide the Turkey?

Mrs. King read a Clifford Phonics Book called, Who Hid It? to emphasize the short i sound. The children also practiced using the word "it" instead of "the turkey" and wrote a sentence about where they hid the turkey so it wouldn't get eaten for Thanksgiving dinner!

Summer - I hid it in my closet.

Frankie - I hid it behind the lamp.

Brian - I hid it behind the couch.

Samantha - I hid it behind the chair.

Colin - I hid it under my bed.

Jonah - I hid it in my toy box.

Allie - I hid it under my bed.

Sarah - I hid it behind the curtains.

Brandon - I hid it in my closet.

Timmy - I hid it under my couch.

Robby - I hid it in the basement.

Marissa - I hid it in the window.

Robert - I hid it in the cabinet.

Vincent - I hid it under the table.

Eddie - I hid it in the trash can.

Emmaly - I hid it in my school bag.
